Question by Hey baby. Why u treat me bad?:How I can create a bonsai? We talk about bonsai today at botanical and my teacher said something about cutting the tree, but I really did not understand! Before you go out and blow big bucks, head down to your local library and check out as many books as possible. Browse through them because you will quickly learn there are about 100 styles of plantings.

Next try to find a bonsai club in your area, attend meetings, and ask questions.

It is way to late to collect trees from the wild, but you can always purchase a 1 gallon green mound juniper from your garden center and go to town. I have killed probably 50 plants due to amateurish mistakes so don’t worry if a few die out.

Never keep your bonsai inside the house or it will die in short order.

The hobby is fun, can be very rewarding, and need not be expensive.
Get as much info as possible and you will have even more fun.
