Hi, I’m Thomas Shoji.
You can just call me Tom if you like. I’m someone who finds peace in small things, tiny leaves, gentle pruning, and the slow art of shaping life through bonsai.
I started growing bonsai over 20 years ago. Back then, I didn’t know much. I just had a little tree, a pair of scissors, and a lot of patience.
Since then, bonsai has taught me more than any book ever could. It’s taught me to slow down, to breathe, and to listen not just to trees, but to myself.
On this blog, I’ll share everything I’ve learned (and still learning) about bonsai. No big words. No fancy talk. Just simple guides, honest tips, and a whole lot of love for these tiny trees.
If you’re new here, you’re in the right place. And if you’ve been growing bonsai for years, I hope we can still learn from each other.
Welcome to the bonsai journey
